Anne and Dave have been in each other’s orbit for many years both professionally and personally. After an introduction by Anne’s sister Christy about 10 years ago, Anne & Dave met every now and then at the Highland Starbucks to strategize on Mayan Restaurant operations. When the pandemic was ravaging the country, Dave needed help at the SBDC and Anne joined the team. After a year of working closely together things just naturally came to a head. If you know Anne, if there’s something on her mind, she has to talk about it. So, after a full day together at a SBA conference in November 2021, she sent the text that started everything. Naturally, the first step in their relationship was to schedule a meeting at Starbucks!
